IDNR calls hearings on Canton coal mine

The Illinois Department of Natural Resources will conduct administrative review hearings on the proposed North Canton strip coal mine beginning Wednesday at the Springfield IDNR office, 1 Natural Resources Way, on the state fairgrounds. The hearing is from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and also is scheduled for Thursday.
