MONTPELIER, Vt. (AP) — An environmental organization is suing the federal government to try to tighten pollution controls in Lake Champlain. The Conservation Law Foundation wants tougher restrictions on the amount of phosphorus that can flow into the lake.

HOUSTON -(Dow Jones)- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency wants to reduce air pollution from oil refineries 2,250 tons a year by controlling emissions from storage tanks, the agency announced Friday.
